2010 Walleye Season Begins!!! WITH A BANG!

well crew it has been a GREAT start to the 2010 season. My buddy foss caught a 30 inch eye in my boat openening day.....Roger white and I finished in the money in 9th place in the Bemidji Eagles Tournament.......and yesterday Dad and i fished in the Garden Spring walleye tournament finishing in 3rd place and in the money once again! in yesterdays tourney on lake bemidji pops and i caught 14 Walleyes ranging from 11 to 22 inches. we caught 3 identical 22 inchers!!! pretty crazy day when you have to THROW BACK a 22 inch walleye during a tourny!! so far so GREAT this season!! keep on fishin crew!

WATER WATER WATER!

wow the lakes are really really wet. took the spear house off last night with the help of Mr. Peabody and there was water 8 to 10 inches deep at least. ice still seems really good though. not sure how long it will last though. could be a very early ice out this year. time to MAYBE start thinkin bout the boats crew!!

Becks Bar

well the secret fossum spot is still pumpin out fish! yesterday morning from 6:45 am to 8:20am i got 57 jumbo perch 2 walleyes and a 7lb nort on a perch pole! that was a fun ride! this morning from 7:15 to 8:45 i got 41 perch 2 more eyes and got taken for a ride by something HUGE! couldnt even slow it down with the perch pole. sent a bag of perch and eyes home for Gramma J and i am gonna send a big bag of perch down to aunt Diane and uncle Bob! man i love eatin perch! and to think all in 6 FEET OF WATER!!!! get after em crew today is black sunday (closing of walleye season!)
